Privacy policy

Who this covers

This policy applies to LiEditor Cloud and the public marketing site. If you self-host, you are the controller for data in your deployment; this policy describes our cloud service.

Data we collect

• ·Account: email, name, and password hash
• ·Workspace content you store on LiEditor Cloud
• ·Usage metadata, diagnostics, and error reports
• ·Billing details processed by our payment provider

How we use data

We use data to provide the service, authenticate you, run exports, and enforce quotas. We do not sell your documents. We do not use your documents to train third-party foundation models.

Processors

Infrastructure, email, and payments may be handled by subprocessors listed on the subprocessors page. We require them to process data only on our instructions.

Cookies and similar storage

We apply one international standard: necessary cookies may run; preferences, analytics, and marketing stay off until you opt in. Reject is as easy as accept. We honor Global Privacy Control as a refusal of optional cookies and as a do-not-sell / do-not-share signal.

Your rights

Depending on your location - including the EU, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, California, and other US states - you may request access, correction, export, or deletion. Email privacy@lieditor.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active. Deleted workspace content is removed from primary storage and then from backups on the backup rotation schedule.
