Getting started
How teams adopt LiEditor for writing, decks, EPUB, and PDF review.
One workspace
LiEditor is a writing workspace. Prose, Fountain screenplays, slide decks, EPUB books, and PDF review live in the same library, with shared folders, roles, and history.
Start on LiEditor Cloud, or run the same application on your own Postgres, object storage, and Redis.
Create your first document
Sign in, open the library, and choose a document, deck, EPUB, or PDF. The editor keeps structure - headings, tables, comments, and export settings - instead of dumping you into an empty canvas.
- Use the outline to jump between sections
- Star items you return to often
- Export when you need a file; keep the live document as source of truth
Next steps
- Invite collaborators and set roles on a workspace
- Share a document or folder with a link when you need outside review
- Connect your own AI keys under Settings, or leave AI off
- Read the product and platform guides linked below
What to read next
Product guides cover writing, presentations, EPUB, and PDF. Platform guides cover workspaces, sharing, and self-hosting. AI guides cover assistance and governance.
